Gunz 1.5 Client & Server Files CLEAN I would like to first start off by saying none of these files are by me. I decided to share these files with you guys because I have personally tried many of the tutorials/files on here, and other websites and well. Either none of them work, links are broken, or they are bugged. So the client is 2008?
And what's 1.5?If you're the owner of GunZ The Last Duel, then you of all people should know the difference. This release appears to be 1.5 but it seems to be a 2008 client? - 1.5 files are the most updated version of the GunZ files, it was released around 2009/2010 by ijji with major changes to the client and server.
Bear in mind it is the most secure files to use (compared to the older versions) but at the same time, you will need to do a lot of work to the source to get it 100% secure. You misinterpreted my question, my question was what's related to 1.5 in his release?
Then again i should have been more specific, thanks for your concern and support.

I've been working for hours to get all this shit to work. I've read seemingly every tutorial and tried every client on Ragezone forums. I've gotten the 2008 clean files and also the Jur13n Edit 1 files to work. The gunz servers work.
However, they don't have any of the advertised features like room tags ia, r, etc. How do I get these features enabled? Also, they only seem to go up to 1600x1200 or 1080p resolution. I need up to 4k resolution. What are the best gunz files to start with? What's the most updated and complete?
I want a server that has all the items and maps ready to go. I would recommend the Ju13n files. But make sure your using the edited one which does have the room tags. (Last I checked it did).
Which ever repack your going to use, the chances are they all won't have full screen support enabled - so you will need to edit the source which comes with whichever repack you choose. There is a tut on RageZONE for the full screen support. The GunZ development scene died a long time ago - the files you have tried above are more and likely the most up to date ones. This should be the tut which gives you widescreen support:.
I would recommend the Ju13n files. But make sure your using the edited one which does have the room tags. (Last I checked it did).
I've gotten the Jur13n Edit 1 client to work. It's advertised as having all the features but seemingly doesn't. The Jur13n Edit 3 files won't launch. The Jur13n 1 client has a lot of weapons but it's missing all the maps after iGunZ and the premium armor. Is it easy to enable all of that such that it's available to all players from the start without having to level or get bounty?
Which ever repack your going to use, the chances are they all won't have full screen support enabled - so you will need to edit the source which comes with whichever repack you choose I'll then have to compile the source to make the client, right? I'm very new to all of this. Juegos para psp descargar. I have the Freestyle gunz source files. Should I just compile that and start from there?
Thanks for the response. Not sure why the room tags aren't working, I guess you can try building the edited source and then try. With the maps you need to make sure that in channelrule.xml in the server files the channel rules are set to elite this will make sure all maps show up in the channel you are in. If you remember back in ijji only a selected few maps where in certain channels. This is because they had the rules set. But by setting the rule 'elite' in all your channels the maps will show up.
As for the clothes/items you need to make sure the premium items are set to 'IsCashItem=False' in the zitem.xml in both server files and client files - and you also need to make sure the Premium item id's are in the shop.xml too. If you want players to be able to purchase anything with no bounty or level restrictions then go into the zitem.xml and make sure bpprice (or something similar) to this is set to 0, and that the level of the item is set to 1.
I know it's very time consuming but in order to customize it the way you want to, this is the only way to do it. Also, if you are going to use the freestyle gunz source I recommend using the client that goes with it. (I assume the source and client were both released together?) But at the same time I would be against using unauthorised releases like that. It's always best to go with the releases that are from reputable people on RaGEZONE, and not from people who ripped other private server sources. Not sure why the room tags aren't working I was an idiot. They actually are working, they just don't announce that they're active like in Freestyle. I guess you can try building the edited source and then try.
I've been trying to do this but I can't seem to open visual studio. It's installed but I can't find the exe to run the program.
I can't find it when I right click open with, either. I'm not sure what the problem is here. I'm able to open 'Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications 2.0 (Admin)' but it doesn't seem right. I can't create a new project in this. I know it's very time consuming but in order to customize it the way you want to, this is the only way to do it. Looking forward to it.
The jur13n files are actually a good place to start. The 2 main things that need fixed are the camera distance and the issues with resolution (no 4k 16:9 support and any time you change something in the settings it changes your resolution to the lowest) Also, if you are going to use the freestyle gunz source I recommend using the client that goes with it. (I assume the source and client were both released together?) I have what was supposedly the fgunz source, but now looking at it it's not the same as the other source files I have. It looks more like a client. So it seems I don't actually have the fgunz source and the links for that are dead.
Got any links? I'd love to start with fgunz. With the maps you need to make sure that in channelrule.xml in the server files the channel rules are set to elite this will make sure all maps show up in the channel you are in. Differences Between Client Server And File Server
If you want players to be able to purchase anything with no bounty or level restrictions then go into the zitem.xml and make sure bpprice (or something similar) to this is set to 0, and that the level of the item is set to 1. Good advice, thanks. Have you made your own server/client before? Hell, I'd be willing to pay you for more advice/assistance.
Server And Client Model
I don't have a fgunz source sadly, I steered clear from those kind of releases as I support fgunz's development. It's been my home server for a while now. As for the issues you are having with Visual Studio, what version are you using? The repack needs to use Visual Studio 2003, or you need to follow a tutorial on RaGEZONE to port it over to either 2010 or 2012. It seems what you installed is either not visual studio, or is the wrong thing. I'm sad to say it, but i've had many servers in the past, so I know how the client / server files work and how to troubleshoot problems on the server itself. I am happy to help you get set up, but won't accept payment for it.
